‘London Head Drawings' is a series of charcoal drawings inspired by staring at fellow commuters. I began drawing the portraits in 1998. Each drawing measures approximately 25 x 20 cm. This page displays 10 drawings. However, to date there are over 200 portrait heads. The idea is to continue to add to the collection and exhibit them every 5 years as one large drawing with the obvious consequence that the display will be larger in scale with each new exhibition.
